The service consists of receiving the isolated fungus sample and culturing it in appropriate media. Subsequently, the total exudated proteins and their enzymatic activities are quantified to characterize the fungus biochemically. The isolates are cultivated in culture media supplemented with nutrients to obtain the rapid growth of the mycelium. Subsequently, the extraction and quantification of the protein exudate from each sample is carried out. The enzymatic analysis includes protease, chitinase and glucanases (Beta-1,6 and Beta-1,3). The assay includes the report of enzymatic activity patterns for each sample for the fungi isolate under study.
