The Bioinformatics area supports the experimental activities at the institute by applying and developing bioinformatics methods and algorithms for the analyses of complex datasets. The rapid advancement and broad adoption of next generation sequencing (NGS) has placed genomics and transcriptomics as one of the main research activities. The Bioinformatics area develops databases, bioinformatics software and data management solutions on-demand.
