PHYTO AND SPIROPLASM DETECTION
The service provides detection of phytoplasms and spiroplasms in corn, whose incidence is underestimated by confusing the symptoms with nutritional or physiological problems. Infections caused by these pathogens imply significant losses in yield. The service includes the collection of samples, the extraction of total DNA and the evaluation of the presence of phytoplasms and spiroplasms by PCR.
